Here at the Balmer Lawn we love Christmas and the New Forest at this time of year is such a magical place. With all the beautiful New Forest ponies roaming, donkeys and other wildlife, the winter walks truly are stunning. On Sunday 13th November the Balmer Lawn Hotel hosted our Winter Wonderland Wedding Showcase. The day was a wonderful day and a success for the hotel, the suppliers and couples who attended.
The stunning Savernake Suite & Elegant Beaulieu Suite were both dressed for wedding celebrations and looked absolutely beautiful. We had yummy cakes for you to sample, stunning flowers, beautiful owls, fabulous photography, stunning venue dressing decorations, DJ playing the latest tunes, fabulous singing and guitar entertainment, lovely hand crafted wedding rings, amazing wedding dresses, casino entertainment, toastmaster & celebrant, fun photobooth and many more.

On Sunday 21st August the Balmer Lawn Hotel hosted our second Family Fun Day, which was in aid of the Joe Glover Trust. The day was a huge success with over 600 visitors attending, it was a fun day had by all.
With some of our wonderful suppliers supporting us with their time and resources such as Paul Newton Magician & Mind Reader, Pete & Michelle from All Parties & Events, Graeme Budd – Dinner Jazz Sax, Jon Burke musician and Robb Webb Photography. Other fabulous suppliers who donated a percentage of their takings from the day to the Trust such as, English Vintage Scoops, Kiddies Heaven Face painting and Kiki’s Creative Faces.

Well, in August Terry and our Maintenance team have been busy in the Saltus Spa. Although, I am sure they would have loved receiving a bit of pampering... they worked very hard to extend the relaxation area of the Saltus Spa!

The staff have been busy here this week, updating our old sofas to striking new leather furniture.
This has opened up our lounge and allowed more space for large groups of families, friends and businesses who enjoy coming together at the Balmer Lawn, whilst allowing more space for private and intimate meetings, interviews or gatherings.
