Our Restaurant Manager Randy Gomez is a local hero after coming to the rescue of a lady who had overturned her car on the forest roads late last night. Thankfully nobody was badly injured, although we believe the car was written off.
We thought he deserved a gold star for his efforts and a mention on here.

We are so lucky to have some amazing wildlife on our doorstep, but sadly there are more and more accidents on the New Forest roads causing fatalities for all types of forest creatures.
This summer please enjoy the forest safely, we want to protect all of the animals we share this beautiful area with!

Welcome to the world...
What a lovely welcome to the world for this little foal.
Still damp from being born during the night, this dear little thing was soaking up the early morning sunshine and enjoying the fierce protection of its mother. Although looking a little surprised at the moment, we are sure that by the end of the day his surroundings will feel much more normal.

Summer comes early to the Balmer Lawn …
A local photography student and stylist took advantange of the early warm weather to use our outdoor pool as a location for a retro feel photographic session.
We love these images and are delighted to be able to share them with you - well done Jordan Williams, it was a pleasure to have you here.
