1. Tell us about yourself?

We are an entertainments company owned by Husband and Wife, Peter and Michelle Holding. From DJ’s to Photobooths, room lighting, decoration (such as starlit twinkly backdrops), our services are comprehensive, flexible and very professional.


2. Why do you love working in the wedding industry?

There is nothing quite like helping a couple, along with their family and friends, to celebrate what is one of the biggest days of their lives. We get to meet and entertain so many wonderful people, and we witness all of the emotions first hand – we both have loads and loads of amazing memories of brilliant weddings!


3. What do your customers say about you?

4. What is your favourite aspect of your work?

It’s the “moments”. Every wedding has things happen which you just know will stay in the memory of the people attending forever. This can be the first dance, the last dance – a spontaneous moment, a great speech – we put in hours of work on every wedding, but are always aware that the couple have put in weeks, months and sometimes years of planning – and all to create “moments”.

5. What makes you different from others in the industry?

Every event we run, from the smallest to the biggest, is assessed and we always ask ourselves – what could we do better next time? We don’t want to just turn up and do the job – it’s vital to us that we are proud of our work, that our customers are wowed by our efforts – and that we always strive to make every wedding or occasion the best it can possibly be.

We were very proud to be nominated for the Wedding Industry Awards 2017 by one of our brides and delighted to read many of the favourable comments left by our voters. This feedback led to us securing our Regional Finalist position, confirming our hopes that we stand out from the crowd.


6. What has been your favourite wedding so far?

So many to choose from! A fantastic wedding we both worked on together (doesn’t always happen) in 2016 was for Rick and Carol Whetren. Rick is a total Status Quo stalker, and this coincided with the fact that Pete is a friend of the original Quo drummer (having worked with him many years ago), John Coghlan. John sent Pete a special video message for Rick and Carol, which was played at the end of the speeches. This had both the groom and best man in tears! It was a fantastic party with a Status Quo medley featuring loads of blow up guitars, as well as lots of other special little dances – an amazing atmosphere all day and night. The Photobooth images were so incredible.


7. What tips would you give a couple when planning their wedding and booking suppliers?

The number of tales of woe we hear, which could have been resolved by good planning, is heart breaking. The best part of that planning is that the couple themselves don’t need to do all of it. Good suppliers will help you with every aspect of your big day, it really needn’t be a marathon! Meet them, look at reviews, ask questions and be totally happy that you are in good hands.

And finally – if there is something that you want to do, but are concerned that it may be a bit mad, or off the wall – then totally do that! Those moments are the ones that everyone will remember forever.
