The staff are excellent. We had a problem with the heating which was swiftly addressed and we were moved to an alternative room. They couldn't do enough for us! Will highly recommend the hotel, and it's indulge massage treatments!

Heidi upgraded us to a luxury four poster as it was my girlfriend's birthday. the room was excellent with great views. The food was outstanding. We will definitely be returning!

We have stayed here before a few times, the last time 4 years ago, I have to say what a lovely surprise. The re-lap of the Hotel is lovely, beds comfy. The food excellent as ever but this time the staff with no exceptions were fantastic!!! Helpful, courteous, efficient & very helpful. Keep it up Balmer Lawn! We arrived smiling & left beaming.

The Hotel is a very good family hotel & it worked very well for us as a family. The evening meal arrangements could be improved by a slight alteration to the main restaurant. We thought the setting and menu were a little formal for young children so we chose to dine in the lounge which was not ideal. I would suggest two menus - say between 6pm - 7.30pm for families & a more formal menu for the rest of the evening. This would make the main restaurant more appealing.

All the staff were very friendly & helpful. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. We were particularly impressed with the leisure facilities. All in all, a very pleasant stay. The only small areas for improvement relate to minor details i.e. the aerial sockets for both rooms 32 & 33 which need some work on.

The grounds are gorgous, our room was beautiful. All the staff are unbelieveably accommodating. As an American I can be very picky and found everything to be up to standard. We have stayed here regularly for many years on business and pleasure. Accommodation and restaurant have always been good. This trip, however, surpassed previous visits. Beautiful room, especially as we came with our dog. The restaurant food was superband the outdoor pool bliss.

I would just like to express my gratitude for our recent stay in your hotel. We had a lovely time over the Easter weekend. All your staff were extremely friendly and courteous and always available for help and advice. It is difficult to single our anyone in particular due to the collective nature of your workforce but Agi at reception and Caroline front of house were very helpful. THe other member of staff that stood out was the Easter Bunny! Thank you for our weekend. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we have already booked up our next stay in June.

We were given this nights stay as a present from our Niece and had such a lovely time we wish we were staying longer. Everyone has been very kind and helpful which is great for a couple of oldies like us... I think the bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in, including our own!

We have stayed with you on 4 previous occassions and we are always happy to return. A very nice hotel, lovely staff who are very friendly and welcoming. Room 10 may need an overhall, the TV cannot be seen due to the posts of the bed and the matress probably needs replacing as the springs are very prominent. The decor in the room is a little dated but the balcony and bathroom are great.
