  • Check in - Rooms are guaranteed to be ready for guests by 3pm. You are more than welcome to arrive earlier and use the facilities before this time. / Check out is 10.30am. Once you have checked out of your room you are more than welcome to use the facilities before you leave.

  • Our pool and wellness facilities are open during the following hours:

    • Pool Facilities (Indoor & Outdoor): 7:00am – 9:00pm

    • Children’s Swim Times (Indoor Pool Only):

      • Morning: 7:00am – 10:00am

      • Afternoon: 4:00pm – 7:00pm

    • Adults Only Swim Times: (Indoor Pool Only)

      • 10:00am – 4:00pm

      • 7:00pm – 9:00pm

    • Wellness Centre: 8:00am – 8:00pm (accessible to guests aged 18 and over only)

  • We have dog friendly rooms here. If you would like to bring your 4 legged friend with you we charge £30 per dog per night. Your dog will get their own bed, water/food bowl, towel, poo bags and treats in the room to use and then... a voucher for a sausage each morning!

  • Dinner allowances can be used in either one of our restaurants.

  • We don't have any ground-floor bedrooms. However, we do have a lift providing access to all floors.

  • Outside the front of the hotel on the main road.

  • Breakfast for non residents is £20 per person. This includes continental and cooked breakfast.

  • Yes, Balmer Lawn Hotel has four fast charging pods available for guest use. Please ask staff for directions upon arrival.

  • We have a bike shed and bike racks at the front of the hotel.

  • Breakfast is served between 7am – 10am Monday to Friday.

    8am – 10am Saturday to Sunday including Bank Holiday Mondays.

  • Our rates vary month to month, and start from £52 including VAT for a day delegate rate and from £245 including VAT for a 24 Hour Rate.

    Note day delegate / 24 Hour rates apply to weekdays only.

  • As of June 1st 2026, we have been cashless and will only accept payments via debit or credit card.

  • Yes, we accept American Express payments but only from the reception desk.

  • No, we do not have air conditioning in any of our bedrooms. However, we provide a fan in every room to help keep you comfortable during your stay. Our corporate meeting rooms and private event spaces are fully air conditioned.
