Savour a delicious selection of sweet and savoury favourites, from homemade sausage rolls and mini croissants to freshly baked scones with our own strawberry jam. Indulge in an array of beautifully crafted cakes too, including chocolate and orange gateau and passion fruit meringue tartlets, the perfect finishing touch to an unforgettable afternoon.

  • Not at all. Our afternoon tea in the New Forest is open to hotel residents and non-residents alike. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply catching up with friends, you’re very welcome to join us.

  • We recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment, particularly at weekends. Please book at least 24 hours in advance so our team has time to prepare for your visit. You can book online or call us on 01590 623116.

  • We serve afternoon tea daily from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. Choose a relaxed setting in The Lodge or enjoy a more traditional dining experience in Beresfords Restaurant.

  • Yes. We’re happy to accommodate vegetarian and vegan diets, along with many other dietary requirements. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary needs when booking, so our team can discuss the options with you in advance.

  • Yes, dogs are welcome in the Lodge and Lounges, making it a lovely option if you’re visiting us after a walk in the New Forest. If you’d like to bring your four-legged companion, please request a table in the Lodge or the Lounge when booking.
