Dining At Balmer Lawn
We’re incredibly proud of our diverse & carefully curated menu at Balmer Lawn. Designed with seasonality and local ingredients in mind, we make it a priority to ensure that our menu is as fresh as it can be - whilst also being flexible.
We receive fresh produce daily, and we endeavour to ensure our dishes are traditional and uncomplicated, whilst also delivering maximum flavour.
We are also more than happy to accommodate specific dietary needs and allergies, offering suitable alternatives wherever possible. If you’re able to advise us at the time of booking we will ensure we have something to suit you and leave you satisfied.

Beresfords Restaurant, named after the proprietor’s father, is the heart of dining at Balmer Lawn. Proudly holding two AA Rosettes, it offers a relaxed yet elegant setting where every dish is crafted with care.
From 6 pm each evening, Beresfords is the place to be, think flavourful starters, hearty mains, and indulgent desserts worth saving room for. With seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and a curated wine list, it’s dining that’s as memorable as your stay.

The Lodge Restaurant & Bar
The Lodge Restaurant and Bar offers a unique outdoor dining experience with heaters, soft blankets and inviting seating, making it the perfect place to gather with friends and family.
Settle in after a woodland walk or enjoy cocktails while taking in the views and relaxed atmosphere.
As the evenings can be cooler, we recommend bringing a warm coat and hat so you can make the most of your time at The Lodge.

Looking to host your very own event? Whether you’re planning a business dinner, celebrating a special occasion or dining with friends, you’re welcome to enjoy the privacy of our modern, air-conditioned, bright function rooms.
Indulge in a selection of private dining menus, curated by our very own chef. Suitable for between 10-120 guests, our dining experience can be tailored to your needs, depending on guest numbers.
If you’re joining us in the summer months, why not make the most of our beautiful Sylvan Pavilion? You’ll enjoy stunning views of our surrounding countryside, and enjoy the option of indulging in a BBQ or hog roast (available for larger functions).
